Privacy Policy

SignalNest is being designed as a local-first iOS app from Borealbit Technology Limited. The MVP stores scan history, sample points, labels, and comparison results on the device by default.

Data the app may store locally

Scan names, room or space names, network name when iOS permits access, quality scores, speed estimates, latency results, sample positions, router markers, device markers, and before-and-after comparison summaries.

Data the MVP should not collect

SignalNest does not need Wi-Fi passwords, exact home addresses, or unnecessary personal identifiers for its core placement-coach workflow.

Permissions

Camera access supports AR scan markers. Local network access can support network diagnostics. Location permission may be required by iOS to read the current Wi-Fi network name; when used, it should be explained in plain language.
